A consultation is a personalized session designed to address your specific needs, provide expert advice, and develop tailored solutions. It offers a focused opportunity to explore options, gain clarity, and make informed decisions with professional guidance.
Starting Sample Locks
During the consultation, I will measure your hair, add sample locks to give you a preview of the look, and provide a personalized price based on your needs and style preferences.
Completing Paperwork
Once you sign the paperwork and make a deposit, your appointment will be scheduled promptly.
Parting
I will begin the session by parting your hair into sections, a process that takes approximately 30 minutes. This step ensures precision and a clean foundation for your locks.
Locking Session
Your locking session will be a full-day experience, lasting approximately 12 hours. Get comfortable and come prepared with a book or other entertainment, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We’ll take three breaks throughout the day to ensure you stay relaxed and refreshed.
Establishment Complete
Your locking session is complete! I will present you with a welcome gift bag to celebrate joining the Sisterlocking community. You’ll also receive detailed instructions on caring for your new locks, and we’ll schedule your next retightening appointment in 5 weeks to maintain their beauty and health.
Retightening
Retightening appointments are scheduled every 4-6 weeks, depending on your hair’s needs. Please arrive with a freshly washed and clean scalp. The process typically takes 2-4 hours to ensure your locks remain neat and well-maintained
Braid Out
A braid-out is a styling technique that involves braiding the hair and then unraveling the braids to create defined, textured waves or curls. This versatile style enhances natural hair’s volume and pattern, offering a soft, stretched look. Perfect for transitioning or locked hair, braid-outs are a great way to achieve a polished, low-maintenance look with minimal heat.
Updo Classy Style
An updo style is an elegant and versatile way to showcase your Sisterlocks. Whether you’re attending a special event, heading to work, or simply want a chic, polished look, an updo offers endless possibilities. From buns and braided crowns to intricate twists, updos are both functional and beautiful, keeping your locks secure while highlighting their unique texture and charm.
